We only ship wine within Australia
To buy wine from our website, and have it delivered upon completion of payment, the
buyer must be at least 18 years of age, be located within Australia and specify a
delivery address within Australia. Under law, alcoholic beverages can only be sold or
supplied to persons aged 18 years of age or over. By placing an order, the buyer
confirms they are at least 18 years of age. If buying wine as a gift, the recipient must
also be at least 18 years of age.
Blind Corner may terminate any special offer advertised on our website without advance
notice and at any time.
Prices for wine, merchandise and accessories stated are in Australian dollars, and may
be per bottle or per case, as stated. Prices include all applicable taxes, unless otherwise
Wine and other products advertised on our website must be paid for by Visa or
MasterCard when ordering. If the credit card issuer does not authorise the transaction,
or later revokes authorisation for the transaction, Blind Corner reserves the right to
cancel the order and withhold delivery. For orders where the "phone order" option is
selected, no goods will be despatched until the buyer has been contacted and payment
for the goods, including any applicable freight charges, has been obtained
If a product improperly appears on the website at the incorrect price, Blind Corner may
decline or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price, even if the order has been
confirmed and payment taken. If a credit card was charged for the purchase and the
order is so cancelled, Blind Corner will notify the buyer and issue a refund to the credit
card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
All products on our website are offered for sale on the basis of stock availability. If a
product is out of stock, Blind Corner will contact the customer regarding replacement or
Blind Corner uses Australia Post eparcel Wine Delivery Service as its freight forwarder,
and will endeavour to despatch all paid orders within 7 days of receipt of
payment. Delivery times may vary due to the operational conditions encountered by our
freight forwarder at any given time and therefore Blind Corner cannot guarantee the
exact time span for delivery of products to the purchaser.
Estimated delivery times for products ordered from our website are 7-10 working days
after despatch for metropolitan areas and 10-14 days after despatch for regional areas
Australia Post eParcel does allow deliveries to be tracked in transit, and Blind Corner
can provide this service to the buyer on request.
If the buyer specifies delivery instructions using the notes field on the purchasing page
of our website, Blind Corner can attach those instructions to the delivery label, but
accepts no responsibility if the freight forwarder, at their discretion refuses to follow
those instructions. If no instructions are specified and the buyer is not home at time of
delivery, a card will be left in the letter box of the buyer indicating the Post Office or
Australia Post Shop at which the items can be collected. If the items remain uncollected
for a period of time and are then returned to Blind Corner as per normal operating
procedures of our freight forwarder, the buyer will be required to pay the appropriate
freight charge before the products are resent by Blind Corner.
Blind Corner accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to wine that is delivered in
accordance with specific instructions nominated by the buyer and therefore a buyer
nominates specific delivery instructions at their own risk.
If a case of wine is received with one or more broken bottles, Blind Corner will issue a
credit or send replacement bottles if the buyer so notifies Blind Corner within 14 days of
payment. Blind Corner reserves the right to request proof of any breakages being
claimed by the buyer
Risk of damage, loss or deterioration of products passes to the buyer on delivery.
Products remain Blind Corner property until paid for by the buyer.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will give you a
day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. Please email us at
email@example.com within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so
that we can resolve any problems.
This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn or used, damaged
after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been
dropped or broken.
All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs
are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered
post and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged
goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance
with your postal carrier. Blind Corner will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged
in transit if you choose not to insure.
