Our original vineyard is in the subregion of Wilyabrup, just out-side the township of Cowaramup, in the Margaret River wine region.  It was planted in 1997 and we purchased it in 2005  (selling our house to do so).  We sold the grapes for the next 3 years whilst we mooched around Europe and phased out the irrigation over the same period.

Even back then we had plans to move onto the property, raise a family there and look at a more natural way of farming.

Our second vineyard purchase more recent, in Quindalup, in 2015, North of the original property but still in the Margaret River wine region.  It is bigger (yikes!) than the first place, with plantings commencing in 1996.  We signed the purchase in late 2014 with our first vintage to be 2016.

Both properties are certified operations with Australian Certified Organic.  The original Wilyabrup vineyard is Certified Organic & Biodynamic


The Quindalup vineyard was 20 years conventional farming before we purchased it in May 2015.  Currently we are over two thirds through the three year conversion.  We are on track for full Organic/BD certification late this year.   We have been working on bringing new varieties into the mix too, and have grafted in over 2Ha of new stuff ready for picking in early 2017
