Like a child raised by wolves, Evangaline is a wild white with the heart of its Cabernet cousins. Warming and velvety smooth, it’s something you have to sip to describe. 

This 2021 batch was made from handpicked Chenin grapes, locked in an earthenware qvevri that’s buried in the bush to ferment for 100 days and nights. The skins are left on to draw extra tannins, adding subtle bite and extra structure, while beeswax lining the qvevri adds a hint of honey taste as well. 

A luscious wine with tart aftertaste that will have you wanting more. Best enjoyed with a seafood curry dinner ravished with your favourite pack mates.
